TUTORIAL: A wallpaper with thumb tacked Polaroids in less than 1 hour!
These photos has been made in Australia.
Create a desktop wallpaper with thumb tacked Polaroids
Step 1
Open and resize your first photo to 197 x 206 pixels.
Have a quick look on Google to find a thumbtack transparent gif image.
Step 2
Open a new document of 220 x 267 pixels and draw this rectangle.
Select View Rulers and place 4 new guides to help you to draw.
ZONE A : color ….e5f2f1
ZONE B : color …..ddeaea
Step 3
Place your first photo (197 x 206 px) in the center.
Step 4
Place a new layer and draw a transparent corner style … 46 % opacity,
rearrange the edge if necessary.
Step 5
Open your main image that should have the resolution of your computer screen, for my part it’s 1024 x 768 pixels.
And place your small Polaroids images inside.
Edit.. Transform.. Rotate..
Blending Options : Drop shadow….Blend mode : Multiply : Black
Opacity 50 % ..Angle 30 degree ….Use global light
Distance 1 pixel… Spread 0 % ….. Size 5 pixels
The last step: place the gif shaped thumbtack where you want.
